Shenandoah

On my last visit to Shenandoah National Park (July 2021), there were traffic jams on Skyline Drive for a doe and several yearlings following her, with the yearlings lingering on the asphalt while cars of tourists politely waited. A little further along near Baldface mountaintop, a beaver had found something in the center of the road to investigate, and again there was a jam of cars waiting for the beaver to finish with business.
