Tremndous humid heat around central Virginia finally getting broken up by infrequent rain. The result has been a florid explosion of pent up growth by plants.

Man, it's hot. I was in DC yesterday and the heat bounces up off the pavement and concrete sidewalks like a mirror. It doesn't help that so many buildings are covered in glass (though, not the White House).
